Down at the Market

It’s been a while since I blogged about the market, but gradually the market is growing again. We now have a growing number of steady stall holders returning. There are also an increasing number of special events being staged on the Market too.

Next Friday we have the WEYA (World event for Young Artists) WEYA Website

Nottingham welcomes artists coming to take part in WEYA with a range of stalls selling traditional English and world foods, arts and crafts in Sneinton Market Square. The WEYA Orientation Stall will be providing maps, advice and a timetable of events for the launch weekend in close proximity to exciting artist led venues in the Eastside of Nottingham. Performances from Louis Scott, Frazer Lowie and Hijack Storm! We can’t wait!

And on the next day Saturday 8th we have the Sneinton Market Heritage event! Where we have guided tours around the conservation area, meeting at 11 a.m. at the Leisure Centre. Lymn’s are bringing their double decker bus and a 1929 Rolls Royce limousine! We have also arranged for children’s activities, so lots of enjoyment for all the family!

There’s no excuse to not coming down to the Market, after all its your local ‘super’ market!
See you there.
